Lacy Veach Day of Discovery

This year, we are proud to support the 21st annual Lacy Veach Day of Discovery! The celebration on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama honors the life and legacy of Charles Lacy Veach, who grew up in Honolulu with an interest in science. Veach had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force and went on to fly two Space Shuttle missions.

Students in grades 3-12 with accompanying adults and teachers can register to participate in more than 20 hands-on interactive STEM workshops, including a keynote address by Nainoa Thompson, president of the Polynesian Voyaging Society. Register is now closed.
