Expanding Access to Education Through Moʻolelo

Centuries of cultural resources and artifacts will soon be more accessible to the community. Kamehameha Schools will open its archives in Kapālama Center in January 2026. This space will make thousands of historic and archaeological resources more accessible to the public, offering a glimpse into KS’ history.

More than a repository, the KS Archives space is designed to be a place of learning, reflection and connection to Hawaiʻi. Visitors can explore artifacts, historic photographs, and archaeological findings from KS and the ʻāina it stewards, known today as ʻĀina Pauahi. These items tell the story of Hawai‘i’s evolving history, the resilience of our people and the deep cultural ties that continue to shape our communities today.

Dive in and discover the treasures that tell the story of her legacy and the many leaders who have shaped Hawaiʻi today.

KS Archives is at Kapālama Center located at 1210 Dillingham Boulevard, Suite 33. It will be open to the public by appointment only.
